About the app

Trip Planner Lite is a private place to plan a trip from first idea to finished memories. Set who travels, where, when, your budget and the pace you want, either with a form or by describing the trip in your own words. When the assistant reads a description, it lists every assumption it made, such as a year or the number of travelers, and you tick each one as checked.

Get one row per day with the places to visit. Add places by name with an optional position, move them between days, and order a day's stops by the shortest walk between the ones that have a position. The assistant can suggest places that fit your travelers, interests and pace. Each suggestion is marked as one to check until you keep it, and without OfflinAI Server you only get general ideas, never invented names.

Paste a booking confirmation and the assistant files the kind, provider, reference, days, times, price and place. What it read is checked against your text, and anything not in the text is dropped. Bookings start as to be checked until you tick them. Save your bookings as an iCalendar (.ics) file.

Make a packing list from the trip's length, the season at the destination and who travels. While you travel, tick the places you visited and rate them from 1 to 5 stars, write a diary for each day and log spending against your budget by category. Other currencies are listed apart, never added in. Afterwards the assistant drafts a story from your diary and ratings, and you can save the whole trip as Markdown.

Every change can be undone with Ctrl+Z, and each trip is saved as a file on your PC. The assistant uses OfflinAI Server running on your own PC, and every task has a simple fallback without it. There are no maps, place searches or booking sites in this app. Nothing leaves your computer except to OfflinAI Server. Nothing is sent to OfflinAI, there is no account, and no data is collected.
