About the app

Library Lite is for people with years of PDFs, letters, statements, spreadsheets, slides and scanned pages who want to find one quickly. Add files or whole folders, watch folders for new files, and search everything from one box, by words and by meaning.

Ask a question and the answer is written only from your own documents. Each sentence names the passage it rests on, and a click opens that passage. If your library does not cover the question, the app says so plainly.

In the background the app works out what each document is (invoice, contract, letter and so on), which area of life it belongs to, the people and organizations in it, and the dates in it. Due dates are gathered in one list, soonest first. You can correct any label, and your corrections always win. You can also add tags and groups of your own, and keep documents in folders that never move anything on disk.

Each file can be kept as a sealed copy or linked where it is. Your originals are never changed. The catalog, copies and search index are encrypted on your PC. You can remove one document with everything derived from it, or erase the whole library in one step.

The AI features (written answers, labels, summaries) use OfflinAI Server running on your own PC. Without it, word search, a first guess at labels and the best matching passages still work. Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to OfflinAI, there is no account, and no data is collected.
